Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of boiling salted water. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for another minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
